Step in Boldly
Your cue to leaving everything fear and Smallness behind
Hello Friend,
Welcome to 2026.
The year great things happen, and you become all that you have envisioned yourself as.
This month’s email is coming in a bit late—better late than never. However, I owe you an apology for the delay. It will get better, and I’m grateful you’re still here.
As you begin to move in the direction of your goals and plans for 2026—or even as you begin to plan, for those still finding their footing—there is one thing I need you to hold on to. If you miss everything else I say in this email, don’t miss this:
Step in boldly.
I beg you, do not be crippled by fear, doubt, or the constant consciousness of not being enough this year. This is not the year to shrink, hesitate, or play small. This is the year to go all out and be audacious.
It’s possible you’ve heard this message in previous years, but I am certain—beyond doubt—that you need it now more than you ever have.
Fear has a way of disguising itself as wisdom. It tells you to “wait a little more,” to “be more realistic,” to “prepare just a bit longer.” But many times, that preparation has no end. And before you realise it, months pass, opportunities slip, and you’re still standing at the edge—thinking, planning, and doubting.
This year requires a different posture.
Nothing you desire this year is too big to pursue. Nothing is too far-reaching to attempt. Nothing is too ambitious to work toward. The only thing that will limit what you build in 2026 is the version of you that shows up to it.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. You don’t need to feel ready. You don’t even need to be fearless. You just need to move—boldly—despite the fear.
Boldness is not the absence of fear; it is the decision to act in spite of it.
So as you step into this year, let boldness guide your decisions. Let it influence the goals you set, the steps you take, the rooms you enter, and the opportunities you embrace. Let it show in how you apply, how you start, how you speak, and how you build.
This is your cue to leave fear and smallness behind.
We will talk about identity next month—because boldness must be rooted in something solid—but for now, let January be the month you decide not to hold yourself back anymore.
Step in boldly.
The year is waiting for you.
Warmly,
Opeoluwa
Your growth cheerleader—walking with you through the in-betweens.
